Just a sec...
I am a software developer and entrepreneur with a passion for building products that solve real problems. I have extensive experience designing and building digital products at scale that are used by millions of people.
I am actively involved in the technology community especially in the Los Angeles area where I regularly gives talks and teach workshops and classes in a variety of technologies. I also organize the annual PyData Los Angeles conference, am an active member of Hack4La, a civic technology volunteer group, and attend a wide variety of technology and design related meetups.
In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, enjoying the southern California climate, organizing PyData Los Angeles conferences, and training for my first Ironman triathlon. Lastly, I served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Senegal after graduating from UC Berkeley.
I build products and do things that give individuals and enterprises the tools and perspectives to acheive their potential and help others on their journey.
I am a maintainer on the Yellowbrick project that provides visual analysis and diagnostic tools to facilitate machine learning model selection.
A newsletter and online community dedicated to connecting the dots in the Los Angeles and Southern California tech community.
